First gear is too long. The lack of a low-range transfer case—or a shorter first gear—is noticeable when starting off on an incline or on rough terrain. You have to rev the engine excessively, which puts too much strain on the clutch. On the road or highway, however, it’s perfect! The 320 Nm of torque won’t disappoint you.

The automatic review seems very accurate - 5th gear is only useful on the level, but apart from that, its fine. (We have 60MPH speed limit when towing anyway)
